Walnut Wonderland
The design brief called for a stylish kitchen for a family of five, who loved entertaining and had a unique request for a dedicated display area for their matchbox collection. They required a durable benchtop,
Gaggenau appliances, a wine fridge, large bins, and an effective extraction system. The family also wanted darker elements for contrast, replacement of sliding doors, and integrated appliances for a minimalist look, all while prioritizing functionality.
The resulting design combines crown-cut walnut, blackened wax steel, Negresco leathered granite stonework, and antique glass to create a warm and inviting space, while thoughtful details like folded steel island panels, a distinctive tap, and integrated air conditioning grills contribute to the overall aesthetic and functionality.
